Record the product, volume and number of individual items as separate fields. Count usable stock before deciding how many packs to order.
Record each delivery before putting it away
A simple stock list can prevent pack counts being mistaken for individual vial counts. Keep different brands, presentations and sizes on separate lines, even when the product names look similar.
- Record the product name and brand exactly as supplied.
- Record the volume per vial or the size of the individual item.
- Record the number of packs received and the number of items in each pack.
- Copy the lot or batch identifier and expiry information where supplied.
- Note damaged packaging, missing items or unclear labels separately from usable stock.
- Keep the order reference so any issue can be linked to the delivery.
Count containers as well as total volume
Two packs containing five 10 mL vials each add ten individual vials to your list. Their combined volume is 100 mL across ten containers. Keeping all three values visible makes a later stock count easier to reconcile.
Use the same approach for consumables. Check whether a listed quantity means individual syringes, swabs, containers or packs. Do not add unlike items into one total.
Keep original labels visible
Group stock by product, brand and vial size. Leave the original labels and packaging with the items so the lot, expiry and storage wording remain available for checking.
Follow the conditions printed on the exact product rather than applying one storage rule to every item. This checklist does not set a shelf life or an after-opening period; those details must come from the relevant product information.
Keep items with damaged packaging or unclear identification separate while you seek clarification. Do not count them as confirmed usable stock.
Reconcile your list before placing the next order
Count what is actually on hand, then check outstanding orders before selecting additional packs. Compare the intended product, size, number of items per pack and total number of packs together.
Review the available delivery information when planning an order. A saved shopping cart is not a stock reservation or a confirmed dispatch date. Contact the store before ordering if a particular timing requirement needs confirmation.
Own-label AUBACWATER vials remain subject to their label restrictions: not for injection, infusion, or human or veterinary administration. Organising products together does not make them interchangeable.
These guides support product comparison and stock organisation. Follow the exact product label and intended-use information for the presentation you choose.
